Volleyball Recap: Benton Picks Up Fifth Consecutive Win

Benton waltzed into their matchup on Thursday with four straight wins... but they left with five. Everything went their way against the White Hall Bulldogs as they made off with a 3-0 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Benton was: they took every set by at least 12 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-13, 25-11.

Their offense was headlined by Bella Gonzalez and Vivian Hope, who picked up ten kills apiece. They got some help from Lexi Eidt and her 13 assists. Gonzalez also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Aniston Fox, each putting up two.

Benton's win bumped their record up to 20-7. As for White Hall, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-9-1 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. Benton will venture away from home to square off against Little Rock Christian Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for White Hall, they will take on Lake Hamilton at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
