Basketball Recap: Sussex Tech Comes Up Short

Sussex Tech was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 60-43 bruising from the Smyrna Eagles. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Ravens of the 41-38 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February of 2024.

Sussex Tech's defeat dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Smyrna, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 4-4.

While Sussex Tech had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
