Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Clayton walked away with it. Their defense stepped up to hand the Orchard Farm Eagles a 1-0 shutout on Saturday. Give Clayton's defense some credit: that's the team's third straight shutout.

Clayton is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-9-1 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up two goals over those five contests. As for Orchard Farm, they moved to 14-5-1 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.
