Baseball Recap: Wellborn Comes Up Short

It was a proper cat-fight when Wellborn took on Weaver on Friday. The Panthers fell just short of the Bearcats by a score of 12-11. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since April 8th, but that streak is no more.

Wellborn's loss dropped their record down to 9-16. As for Weaver, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-21 record this season.
