Volleyball Recap: Ignacio Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

With a playoff win on the line, Ignacio rose to the challenge on Friday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Rye Thunderbolts. The win was familiar territory for the Bobcats, who have now won three matchups in a row.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 23-25, 25-19, 25-14.

Tarah Baker was a one-woman wrecking crew as she had 25 digs and two aces. Those 25 digs gave her a new career-high.

Baker wasn't the only good servers: Ignacio was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 13 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in eight consecutive contests.

Ignacio's record is now 21-4. As for Rye, the loss snapped their winning streak at six matches and leaves them with a 18-7 record.

As of now, neither Ignacio nor the Thunderbolts have any future games scheduled.
