Van is on a three-game streak of home losses, Cumberland Academy a four-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck will change on Tuesday. The Van Vandals will host the Cumberland Academy Knights at 5:30 p.m. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Van fell victim to Athens and their airtight defense on Friday. They came up short against the Hornets, falling 8-0. Meanwhile, Cumberland Academy also failed to score in their most recent game. They lost 8-0 to Chapel Hill on Friday. That's two games in a row now that the Knights have lost by exactly eight goals.

Cumberland Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Van, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-5-1.
