Basketball Recap: Capital Takes a Loss

Capital lost against Cabell Midland back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Capital Cougars took a 57-47 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cabell Midland Knights. The Cougars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Capital's record now sits at 4-11. As for Cabell Midland, they pushed their record up to 8-10 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home.

Looking ahead, Capital will venture away from home to take on Woodrow Wilson at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Capital is facing Woodrow Wilson at the right time seeing as Woodrow Wilson is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Cabell Midland, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Chesapeake at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
