Brennan made his presence known in Mohave Accelerated's 8-7 defeat
While Mohave Accelerated might've come up empty on Saturday, Matt Brennan wasn't going down without a fight. Despite the loss, Brennan was still locked in as he struck out ten batters over 5.2 innings while giving up four earned (and three unearned) runs off six hits.
Even though Brennan couldn't lead Mohave Accelerated over Heritage Academy, he won't have to wait long to try again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. Brennan has dominated as far as hits are concerned (he's averaged 1.6 per game this season), but he's got his work cut out for him considering Heritage Academy has only allowed six per game this season.
