Soccer Recap: Virginia Academy Takes a Loss

Virginia Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They fell 3-1 to the Saint John Paul the Great Catholic Wolves. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Virginia Academy of the 5-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2022.

Virginia Academy's loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Saint John Paul the Great Catholic, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-3.

Coming up, Virginia Academy will be playing at home against Catholic at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Saint John Paul the Great Catholic, they will head out on the road to challenge St. Christopher's at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
