Oroville and Corning are an even 5-5 against one another since October of 2019, but not for long. The Tigers will square off against the Cardinals at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Meanwhile, Corning came up short against Las Plumas on Tuesday, falling 3-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Cardinals have suffered against the Thunderbirds since October 7, 2021.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-15, 25-19.

Corning's defeat dropped their record down to 9-17. As for Oroville, their loss dropped their record down to 12-15.

Oroville couldn't quite get it done against Corning when the teams last played back in September as they fell 3-1. Can the Tigers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
