Football Recap: Foshay Comes Up Short

Foshay had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They came up short against the Palos Verdes Sea Kings on Monday, falling 25-0.

Palos Verdes' success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Ellie Correa led the charge by throwing for 124 yards and a pair of touchdowns. Sophia Albano got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Palos Verdes' win bumped their record up to 6-1.

Foshay has already played their next contest, a 40-14 defeat against San Pedro on the 25th. As for Palos Verdes, they will take on Franklin in a tournament on Friday.
