Gardner entered their tilt with Maynard on Monday with five consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with six. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Tigers. Those two runs were actually the fewest the Wildcats have put up all season, but given the result they're probably not too concerned.

Gardner's victory bumped their record up to 11-4. As for Maynard, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Gardner will host Murdock at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Wildcats are facing the Blue Devils at the right time seeing as the Blue Devils are stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for Maynard, they will take on Bromfield at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
