Baseball Recap: Prospect Comes Up Short

Prospect lost against Santa Teresa back in March of 2019, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Prospect Panthers took a 9-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Santa Teresa Saints. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Jeremy Wang made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with one triple, one run, and one double. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in hits (three).

Prospect's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Santa Teresa, the win got them back to even at 2-2.

Looking ahead, Prospect is taking a road trip to challenge Harbor at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Santa Teresa, they will be playing in front of their home fans against San Lorenzo Valley at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
