Basketball Recap: DSST: Green Valley Ranch Takes a Loss

DSST: Green Valley Ranch was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 12th straight defeat. They were outmatched by the Manual Thunderbolts and fell 49-11. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Raptors of the 56-8 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in January of 2024.

Janice Sor was DSST: Green Valley Ranch's leading scorer, having posted five points. Gabby Gordon held things down on the boards with 11 rebounds.

Jaci Collins-Falcon was her usual excellent self, going 8 for 15 on her way to 23 points and five steals for Manual. That's the most points Collins-Falcon has posted since back in January of 2024. Dayjah Fox was another key player, dropping a double-double on 15 points and 20 boards.

DSST: Green Valley Ranch's defeat dropped their record down to 1-13. As for Manual, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 12-2 record this season.

DSST: Green Valley Ranch has already played their next contest (against Rocky Mountain Prep SMART), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Manual will head out to face off against Lincoln at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Lincoln comes in on six and Manual on three.
