Baseball Recap: Castro Valley Trojans vs. Berkeley Yellowjackets

Castro Valley was the 6-2 winner over Berkeley when they last played one another last Wednesday, but their luck changed this time around. The Castro Valley Trojans fell just short of the Berkeley Yellowjackets by a score of 5-4 on Friday. It was the first time this season that Castro Valley let down their fans at home.

Robert Herrera made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole two bases while going 2-for-3.

On Berkeley's side, Quinton Hill was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he pitched five innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off two hits.
