Basketball Recap: Northeast Christian Academy Starts Season with Defeat at Home

Northeast Christian Academy unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They fell 66-57 to the Job Corps Titans on Thursday. If Northeast Christian Academy was looking for revenge after losing 65-45 to Job Corps when the teams met back in February of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Maurice King had an outrageously good game for Job Corps as he dropped a double-double with 35 points and 15 boards.

The victory got Job Corps back to even at 1-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Northeast Christian Academy will host Transmountain Early College High School at 6:00 p.m. on December 9. As for Job Corps, after both having extra time off, they and Dell City will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 6:00 p.m. on December 2.
