Softball Recap: Sheehan Continues Road Dominance on Thursday

Sheehan won the last time they faced Guilford and things went their way on Thursday too. The Titans came out on top against the Grizzlies by a score of 9-6. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Titans.

Sheehan's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 3-4. Those road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games. As for Guilford, they now have a losing record of 4-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sheehan will square off against Mercy at 4:15 p.m. on Monday. As for Guilford, they will take on North Haven at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Nighthawks' pitching crew has only allowed 3.9 runs per game this season, so the Grizzlies' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
