Baseball Recap: Eight Straight Road Wins for Indiana

Indiana gave up the first runs on Thursday, but they didn't let that get them down. They had just enough and edged out the DuBois Beavers 5-3. The victory was nothing new for the Little Indians as they're now sitting on three straight.

Indiana pushed their record up to 16-1 with the win, which was their eighth straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.9 runs over those games. As for DuBois, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-5.

Coming up, Indiana will look to defend their home field on Saturday against Hollidaysburg at 1:00 p.m. The Golden Tigers will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something the Little Indians surely won't give up without a fight. As for DuBois, they are taking a road trip to take on DuBois Central Catholic at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Cardinals' pitching crew has only allowed 0.7 runs per game this season, so the Beavers' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
