Basketball Game Preview: Reynoldsburg Raiders vs. St. Francis DeSales Stallions

The Reynoldsburg Raiders will head out on the road to face off against the St. Francis DeSales Stallions at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Reynoldsburg has 15 straight wins, St. Francis DeSales has three straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

Reynoldsburg is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Ohio's top teams: St. Vincent-St. Mary, who was ranked 20th at the time (Reynoldsburg was ranked second). Reynoldsburg blew past St. Vincent-St. Mary 72-51 on Saturday. The Raiders have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five games by 21 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, St. Francis DeSales didn't have quite enough to beat Bishop Hartley on Friday and fell 69-67.

Reynoldsburg pushed their record up to 15-0 with the victory, which was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season. As for St. Francis DeSales, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-6.

Reynoldsburg was able to grind out a solid win over St. Francis DeSales in their previous meeting back in January of 2024, winning 65-52. The rematch might be a little tougher for Reynoldsburg since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
