Basketball Recap: Morrisville Takes a Loss

If Morrisville was feeling good fresh off their 70-23 takedown of Martin Luther last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Morrisville Bulldogs were outmatched by the Delaware County Christian Knights and fell 87-47. The Bulldogs were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 58-25.

Leading Delaware County Christian to victory were Khamai Orange and Bradford Berwick. Orange went 9 for 14 on his way to 24 points in addition to six assists and six boards, while Berwick dropped a double-double on 18 points and 11 rebounds. The matchup was Orange's ninth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Beau Lyren, who went 6 of 15 en route to 14 points and seven boards.

Morrisville's defeat dropped their record down to 8-10. As for Delaware County Christian, their win was their eighth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 18-2.

Morrisville didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 53-40 victory against Church Farm on the 4th. As for Delaware County Christian, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 62-37 win against Calvary Christian Academy on the 4th.
