Soccer Game Preview: Lyman vs. Viera

The Lyman Greyhounds will challenge the Viera Hawks at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Lyman will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.

Lyman is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup last Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 4-3 victory over Oviedo. Jozef Jacobs was a massive factor in the win as he booted in three goals all by himself.

Viera hadn't beaten Melbourne on the road since December 13, 2023 but that history sure didn't bother them last Tuesday. The Hawks came out on top against the Bulldogs by a score of 4-2. That's two games straight that Viera have won by exactly two goals.

Lyman's win bumped their record up to 11-6-2. As for Viera, their victory bumped their record up to 10-0-4.
