Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Hamilton Christian). They blew past the East Beauregard Trojans 17-6 on Saturday. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Warriors considering their two-run performance the contest before.

Grant Menard and Jake Menard did most of the damage at the plate: Grant went a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases, four RBI, and one triple, while Jake scored four runs and stole three bases while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. Those four RBI gave Grant a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Kelby McMahon, who scored a run and stole three bases while going 1-for-3.

The victory got Hamilton Christian back to even at 7-7. As for East Beauregard, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-10.

Looking ahead, Hamilton Christian will square off against Merryville at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Hamilton Christian is facing Merryville at the right time seeing as Merryville is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for East Beauregard, they will be playing at home against Rosepine at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
