Volleyball Game Preview: Southridge Suns vs. Kamiakin Braves + Official Tickets

Southridge hasn't had much luck against Kamiakin recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Suns will face off against the Braves at 7:00 p.m.

On Tuesday, Southridge didn't have quite enough to beat Richland and fell 3-2. While the Suns didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Bombers 25-18 in the first set.

Southridge started the match hot and won the first two sets, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 18-25, 20-25, 26-24, 29-27, 15-9.

Meanwhile, Kamiakin had already won five in a row and they went ahead and made it six on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Lions.

Kamiakin never let Kennewick on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-21, 27-25.

Kamiakin's victory bumped their record up to 13-1. As for Southridge, their loss dropped their record down to 8-5.

Southridge came up short against Kamiakin in their previous matchup back in September, falling 3-1. Can the Suns avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
