Softball Recap: Kirtland Central Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Kirtland Central hadn't done well against Bloomfield recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Broncos put the hurt on the Bobcats with a sharp 19-3 win. The victory was familiar territory for the Broncos, who have now won three matchups in a row.

Tanisha Thomas was incredible, firing off two home runs, four runs, and five RBI while going 4-for-4. Those two home runs gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Paisley Mcgilbert, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, one triple, and one RBI.

They weren't the only ones working in the home run department: Kirtland Central lost a few balls and finished the game with four home runs. They are 4-2 when they post two or more home runs.

The win got Kirtland Central back to even at 12-12. As for Bloomfield, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-17.
