Basketball Recap: Hatton Takes a Loss

Hatton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They were beaten by the Lauderdale County Tigers 73-27. While losing is never fun, the Hornets can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Alabama basketball rankings (they are ranked 277th, while the Tigers are ranked fifth).

Hatton's defeat dropped their record down to 5-19. As for Lauderdale County, the victory (which was their 12th in a row) raised their record to 24-1.

The two teams are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. Hatton has already played their next game (against Brooks), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Lauderdale County has also has no score uploaded for their next contest, this one against Rogers.
