Recap: Eastern Musketeers vs. Christel House at Manual Eagles
The Eastern Musketeers''s game last Friday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They blew past Christel House at Manual 49-29. The result was nothing new for Eastern, who have now won three matches by 20 points or more so far this season.
Eastern was led to victory by Brayden Jones and Nathan Mcbride. Jones rushed for 140 yards and two touchdowns on only 15 carries, while Mcbride rushed for 185 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 8.8 yards per carry. Cody Banet and his 80 yards on the ground were also a key factor in Eastern's win.
Eastern's defense stepped up as well, laying out the QB three times. Leading the way was Caleb King and his two sacks.
Eastern's win was their third straight on the road, which bumped their overall record up to 4-6. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 37.3 points per game. As for Christel House at Manual, their loss dropped their record down to 3-6.
Eastern will be playing at home against Switzerland County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Christel House at Manual does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
