Lowndes won the last time they faced Valdosta and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Vikings took down the Wildcats 25-6. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Vikings' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia flag football rankings (they are ranked 31st, while the Wildcats are ranked 126th).

Lowndes was led to victory by Jamecia Burgman and Anieya Smith. Burgman rushed for 105 yards and two scores on only ten carries, while Smith rushed for 75 yards and one TD. Addison Huling got in on the action as well, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Lowndes didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of McKenzie Goff and Huling. Huling got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Lowndes has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-2 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 26.3 points over those games. As for Valdosta, the loss snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 9-7 record.

Lowndes didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 24-13 victory against Irwin County on the 11th. As for Valdosta, they have also already played their next contest, a 7-6 defeat against Colquitt County on the 11th.
