Lakeview came tearing into Tuesday's game with eight straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 9.5 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with an 8-3 victory over the LaBrae Vikings. That's more bragging rights for the Bulldogs, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Ava Bacon spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned runs on eight hits and racked up six Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Mackenzie Stowe, who went 3-for-4 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. Kennedy Bartlett was another key player, going a perfect 4-for-4 with two runs, two RBI, and one double.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Lakeview kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 17 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least 11 hits in eight consecutive contests.

Lakeview pushed their record up to 15-3 with the win, which was their sixth straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.8 runs on average over those games. As for LaBrae, their defeat dropped their record down to 17-3.
