After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Cascade, Scappoose was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They were the clear victor by a 47-26 margin over the Estacada Rangers. The high-scoring effort was just what the Indians needed considering they were shutout in their previous contest.

Scappoose found their leader in underclassman Will Kessi, who threw for 205 yards and a touchdown while completing 75% of his passes, and also punched in two touchdowns on the ground. 81 of those passing yards were hauled in by Jaiden Smith.

Scappoose's defense was in the mix too, especially the secondary: they snagged two passes before it was all said and done. The picks came courtesy of Quinton Olson and Logan Washburn.

Scappoose's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Estacada, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3.
