San Marcos had won four straight games and Azariah Fennell did her part to make it five on Tuesday. The San Marcos Rattlers took their match with ease, bagging a 62-30 win over the East Central Hornets thanks in part to Fennell, who almost dropped a double-double on 23 points and nine boards. What's more, she also racked up four assists, the most she's had since back in November of 2024.

Another player making a difference was Ezra Tobias, who posted nine points in addition to seven steals and five assists. She is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed four or more in the last three games she's played.

San Marcos has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 15 of their last 16 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 23-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.6 points per game. As for East Central, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 17-16.

San Marcos will be playing at home against Judson at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams are headed into the matchup with plenty of momentum (San Marcos has won ten straight at home, while Judson won ten straight on the road), something that'll have to change. East Central has already played their next game (against Canyon), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
