Calvary Christian is 8-2 against Bellevue since October of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Cougars will square off against the Tigers at 7:00 p.m. Calvary Christian will be strutting in after a win while Bellevue will be coming in after a defeat.

It was a proper cat-fight when Calvary Christian challenged Walton-Verona on Thursday. The Cougars walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Bearcats. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Cougars.

The win didn't come easy: Walton-Verona scored at least 19 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-22, 25-27, 25-21.

Meanwhile, Bellevue lost 3-0 to Newport Central Catholic on Thursday. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

While Bellevue was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Newport Central Catholic's winning margin in every set. The final score came out to 25-17, 25-18, 25-19.

Calvary Christian's victory bumped their record up to 20-5. As for Bellevue, their loss dropped their record down to 6-12.

Calvary Christian was able to grind out a solid win over Bellevue in their previous matchup back in August, winning 2-0. Will the Cougars repeat their success, or do the Tigers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
