Softball Recap: Mid-Carolina Rebels vs. Strom Thurmond Rebels
After flying high against Eau Claire last Tuesday, Mid-Carolina came back down to earth. Mid-Carolina took a 7-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of Strom Thurmond on Wednesday. The loss continues a trend for Mid-Carolina in their meetings with Strom Thurmond: they've now lost three in a row.

Malloree Grimsley made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 3-for-3 with two RBI. That's the most hits she has posted since back in April of 2024. Ajaila Kibler also deserves some recognition as she got her first hit of the season.
