There's no place like home for Shorecrest, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Wednesday. They were the clear victors by a 7-1 margin over the Archbishop Murphy Wildcats on Friday. This was payback for the Scots, who suffered a 3-2 loss the last time these two teams met.

Elyas Rojas was excellent, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with two stolen bases and one RBI. Gavin Leptich was another key player, scoring a run while going 1-for-2.

Shorecrest now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Archbishop Murphy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-3.

Looking ahead, Shorecrest will square off against Glacier Peak at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Archbishop Murphy, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Archbishop Murphy Wildcats duke it out with Monroe Bearcats at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
