Volleyball Recap: Wahconah Regional Warriors vs. East Longmeadow Spartans

Wahconah Regional lost against East Longmeadow back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Warriors lost 3-0 to the Spartans.

While Wahconah Regional was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-23, 25-17.

Their offense was headlined by Alexandra Rougeau and Taea Cunagin, who picked up six kills apiece. They got some help from Melaina Haczela and her 13 assists. Emma Jacinto controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Wahconah Regional's defeat ended a nine-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 14-7. As for East Longmeadow, they pushed their record up to 18-3 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road.
