Basketball Game Preview: West Salem Titans vs. Northern Nash Knights

The West Salem Titans will take on the Northern Nash Knights in a tournament on Friday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, both will really light up the scoreboard.

West Salem is headed into the game having just posted their closest win since January 26th on Wednesday. They had just enough and edged Wilsonville out 57-55.

Meanwhile, Northern Nash had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7.5 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Democrats 71-42. That 29 point margin sets a new team best for the Knights this season.

West Salem better keep an eye on Jah'Marzea Williams. He was instrumental in Northern Nash's win, going 7 for 8 on his way to 15 points and six rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Christian Barnes, who went 6 of 12 on his way to 14 points and five rebounds.

Northern Nash's victory bumped their record up to 5-1. As for West Salem, the win got them back to even at 2-2.
