Lathrop's hitters might be in the hot seat on Wednesday considering what happened against Service on Saturday. They lost 12-0 to the Cougars.

Meanwhile, North Pole put the finishing touches on their eighth blowout victory of the season on Tuesday. They put the hurt on Hutchison with a sharp 16-1 victory.

Landon Ritter made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Ritter was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with two runs, a triple, and a double.

In other batting news, North Pole got a massive performance out of Ryan Martinez, who scored two runs and stole three bases while going 3-for-3. Martinez is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now stolen at least one in the last nine games he's played.
