Recap: Mountain View Cougars vs. North Eugene Highlanders
The Mountain View Cougars pushed their score all the way to 56 on Friday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a 60-56 hit to the loss column at the hands of North Eugene. Mountain View lost against North Eugene in their previous head to head back in March, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 61-44 score last time.
India Mohiuddin was the offensive standout of the game as he scored 18 points. Another player making a difference was Jonas Spencer, who scored 13 points along with 7 rebounds.
Mountain View's defeat dropped their record down to 0-1. As for North Eugene, their win bumped their record up to 1-0.
Mountain View will look to defend their home court on Saturday against Sandy at 2:00 p.m. As for North Eugene, they will take on North Marion at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday.
