Baseball Recap: Stratford Comes Up Short

If Stratford was riding high fresh off their 10-0 takedown of Pearl-Cohn on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Spartans lost 12-2 to the East Nashville Magnet Eagles on Saturday. Unfortunately, that's the fifth time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, with their most recent loss being a 14-6 defeat on Tuesday.

Stratford's loss dropped their record down to 7-7. As for East Nashville Magnet, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last 11 games. That's provided a massive bump to their 14-8-1 record this season.

Stratford didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 7-0 victory against Pearl-Cohn on the 10th. East Nashville Magnet does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
