Baseball Recap: Jefferson Comes Up Short

Jefferson lost against Sioux City North on Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Yellowjackets fell just short of the Stars by a score of 6-5. The Yellowjackets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Nate Anderson was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-4 with two RBI and one run.

Jefferson's loss dropped their record down to 10-25. As for Sioux City North, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 20-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Jefferson will venture away from home to face off against Tri-Center at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Sioux City North, they will head out to take on Lincoln at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
