Volleyball Recap: Valley Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Valley lost against Resurrection Christian back in September of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Vikings took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cougars. The Vikings have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 16-25, 25-14, 25-13.

Valley's offense was headlined by Meagan Jolley and Camila Villanueva, who picked up five kills apiece. They got some help from Jade Nevarez and her seven assists. Alley Webber controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Resurrection Christian, they pushed their record up to 6-0 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Valley wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Frontier Academy on the 25th. As for Resurrection Christian, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Fort Morgan on the 25th.
