Volleyball Recap: Kecoughtan Wins High-Profile Game Against Grassfield

Kecoughtan faced Grassfield in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Warriors came out on top against the Grizzlies by a score of 2-0. For the Warriors, this counts as revenge for the 3-2 victory the Grizzlies walked away with the last time they faced one another back in November of 2024.

Kecoughtan never let Grassfield on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-23.

Kecoughtan's win bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Grassfield, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 6-1.

Kecoughtan has already played their next matchup (against Menchville), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Grassfield, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-1 loss against Great Bridge on the 13th.
