Baseball Recap: Riverdale Wins Going Away Against Waynesfield-Goshen

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Riverdale). Everything went their way against the Waynesfield-Goshen Tigers on Friday as they made off with a 15-5 win. The victory continues a trend for the Falcons in their matchups with the Tigers: they've now won four in a row.

The team relied heavily on Grady Phelps, who scored three runs and stole three bases while going 3-for-4. Those stolen bases were his first of the season. Evan Reiter was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing two bases while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances.
