After failing to score in their last matchup, Independence made sure to put some goals up on the board against Centennial on Tuesday. They blew past the Cougars 11-2. That nine goal margin sets a new team best for Independence this season.

Independence's win bumped their record up to 3-1-1. As for Centennial, they dropped their record down to 3-8 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home.
