Soccer Recap: St. Thomas More Gets the Win

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Warrensburg-Latham/Maroa-Forsyth, St. Thomas More was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Rantoul Eagles a 10-0 shutout. Emerson Clark was a massive factor in the win as she booted in four goals all by herself.

St. Thomas More's victory bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Rantoul, their loss dropped their record down to 0-7.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. St. Thomas More will head out to challenge Monticello at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Rantoul, they will venture away from home to take on Bloomington at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
