Burns had won six straight road games and Bailey Temple did her part to make it seven on Friday. The Hilanders blew past the Riverside Pirates 3-0 thanks in part to Temple, who had 19 digs and six aces. She has been hot recently, having posted 11 or more digs the last four times she's played.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Burns took every set by at least 12 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-11, 25-13.

Burns' record now sits at 34-1-1. As for Riverside, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 11 of their last 12 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-13 record this season.
