Football Recap: Riverside Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Riverside played a tough matchup on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They lost 36-13 to the Heritage Pride. The last quarter was a mere formality, since the game's final score was reached by the end of the third quarter.

Although Riverside took the loss, they still got scores from Axel Quintana and Jordan Allen.

Heritage's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Luke Olszewski, who rushed for 113 yards and two TDs on only seven carries. That's the most rushing touchdowns Olszewski has posted since back in October of 2024. Reed Alexander was another key rusher, rushing for 130 yards and one touchdown.

Riverside now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Heritage, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Coming up, Riverside will venture away from home to take on John Champe at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Heritage, they will welcome Woodgrove at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
