The Fuquay - Varina Bengals will venture away from home to face off against the Enloe Eagles at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Fuquay - Varina is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 57 points per game this season.

Fuquay - Varina will bounce into Tuesday's game after beating Athens Drive, who they had gone 1-8 against in their nine prior meetings. The Bengals were the clear victors by a 64-40 margin over the Jaguars on Tuesday. The Bengals pushed the score to 56-29 by the end of the third, a deficit the Jaguars cut but never quite recovered from.

Reagan Lindholm had another great game (as she tends to do), putting up 19 points in addition to seven boards and four steals. She is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in each of the last three games she's played. Abigail Meaney was another key player, scoring 11 points along with five assists and five rebounds.

Fuquay - Varina smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 19 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least ten offensive rebounds every time they've taken the court this season.

Meanwhile, Enloe was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 27th straight loss dating back to last season. They were beaten by Southeast Raleigh 69-9. The Eagles were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 43-5.

Enloe's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Fuquay - Varina, their win bumped their record up to 3-1.

Everything went Fuquay - Varina's way against Enloe in their previous meeting back in December of 2024, as Fuquay - Varina made off with a 55-29 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bengals since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
