Blackman dropped down to 4-3 on Saturday, ending the team's four-game streak of wins. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Oakland Patriots. The matchup marked the first time this season in which the Blaze were not able to get on the board.

Molly Teague paced Blackman's offense, picking up eight kills. Teague got some help from Raighan Buchanan and her 13 assists. AnnMarie Hebden controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

As for Oakland, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-1. That two set margin sets a new team best for them this season.

Stella Logan was the offensive standout of the contest as she had nine digs.

Oakland has already played their next game, a 2-1 defeat against Green Hill on the 23rd. Hopefully Blackman paid attention to the Patriots' match: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Patriots at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
