Baseball Recap: Avondale Takes a Loss

Avondale lost against Seaholm on Monday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Yellowjackets lost 19-4 to the Maples. The Yellowjackets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Nathan Tacheny made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with two RBI, one run, and one double.

Avondale now has a losing record of 5-6. As for Seaholm, the win (which was their tenth in a row) raised their record to 11-1.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Maples beat Avondale by a score of 13-0 later that day.
