Sierra Vista has gone a perfect 4-0 against Del Sol recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Saturday. The Mountain Lions will be playing in front of their home fans against the Dragons at 11:00 a.m. Sierra Vista is coming into the contest hot, having won their last six games.

If Sierra Vista beats Del Sol with seven runs on Saturday, it's going to be the team's new lucky number: they've won their past two games with that exact score. The Mountain Lions came out on top against Bonanza by a score of 7-4 on Friday.

The team relied heavily on Gavin Villa, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-1. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in RBI (three). Another player making a difference was Brady Skinner, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 21 runs the game before, Del Sol was a bit more limited in their match on Tuesday. They came up short against Silverado, falling 11-1. The Dragons haven't had much luck with the Skyhawks recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

Del Sol saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ice Catapang, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one RBI.

Sierra Vista pushed their record up to 11-6 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.4 runs over those games. As for Del Sol, their loss dropped their record down to 7-6.

Everything went Sierra Vista's way against Del Sol in their previous matchup back in April of 2024, as Sierra Vista made off with a 17-0 win. Will the Mountain Lions repeat their success, or do the Dragons have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
